Home PageEnglish 585 Class: You can use this wiki space to work on drafts of your CompFAQs. Edit this page, create links from here to new pages for your work, and from there you can “play” with the formats, design, text, etc. Then, when you are ready and when we have decided on official “titles” for your various FAQs, we can easily move contents from this section of the wiki to the final formal location. To create a link, edit this page (click the edit link above or below), and model your link on the one I created for Dr. A-K. You can put any words between double brackets (do not use periods of slashes). When you first create the link, you’ll see that has a dotted underscore and a small superscript question mark beside it. Click on that and you go the edit screen for the page. You are ready to edit. If you have questions, and the documentation doesn’t help, contact me: gblalock at grandecom dot net. NOTE: Do NOT leave any spaces in the left margin of your text—no indents, especially. That will cause the text to disappear on the right horizon, forever. If you want to indent text, read the instructions at the bottom of the edit screen or follow the links there to the other help sources. The easiest way to mark a paragrah is to use a blank line between paragraphs, and don’t use indenting, unless you follow the instructions in wiki help. Also, at the bottom of the sidebar to the left, you’ll see a link to your classes wiki home page, which will help with some navigation.
