- Imagine that you are a member of the audience the writer is addressing. In what ways does it seem like you would understand and appreciate this piece, and in what ways might it need more work (on perspective, tone, language, and so on)?
- Has the writer drawn upon the earlier thinking and research they did? Could/should the writer draw upon it more?
- What feedback/response can you give the writer based on the above questions on their cover letter?
